We had the good fortune of connecting with James Neal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi James, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the success of our office is strongly connected to our eagerness to help as many people as possible, with a caring, individualized approach to their health. We don’t take for granted the commitment of our patients to our office, which is reflected in them sending referrals weekly! I believe by being invested in our patient’s health and their lives, it has created a professional, but comfortable environment for patient’s to ask questions, provide education to patients, and create a culture of making healthy choices when it comes to improving their overall well being.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Comprehensive Spinal Care opened in 2017. We are a chiropractic office that specializes in individualized care for each of our patients. We put a majority of our focus on figuring out what the patient’s goals are for care and then put a plan in place to meet and exceed those goals as quickly as possible. We have successfully treated patients following car accidents, sporting injuries, we proudly provide care to our military community and veterans. Our bodies are incredible if you give it the right attention to thrive, so our goal is to provide that environment. Our office provides rehabilitative exercise programs, massage therapy options, and spinal decompression therapy for the treatment of herniated and degenerative discs.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A week in San Diego is easy to fill with a ton of fun things to do. Torrey Pines hiking trails are easily one of my favorite places to bring guests to show off our beautiful coast line and beaches. Golfing at Torrey Pines, (home to the 2021 US Open) is always high on the list as well. Aside from our beautiful beaches, a night in Little Italy is always recommended for great food and the atmosphere. There are too many restaurants to name them all, but some of my favorites are Barbusa for dinner/drinks, Board and Brew for sandwiches, Cowboy Star for steak, The Henry in Coronado for brunch, and of course a California Burrito is always necessary. One of my favorite daytime activities is going to our Zoo, especially when the weather cools off and the animals are more active.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate this Shoutout to my loving and patient wife Kristen. She has been by my side from the beginning and continues to lend her support and love as our office continues to grow.
