We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaclyn Zelasko and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaclyn, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my businesses success is my high level of attention to detail. As my company is named In The Details, it is extremely important to always pay close attention to all details big and small, to make sure the event can be executed flawlessly. I believe that the smallest of details can come together in a way that really enhances the overall aesthetic and vibe of the event!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I quickly found a passion for executing the transition from vision to an event during her tenure as an Event Coordinator at Mile High Station in Denver, Colorado. My number one objective is to make sure that every happy couple’s day is exactly how they pictured it in their mind and goes without a hitch. The combination of my bubbly personality, nearly a decade of customer service experience, and my extensive knowledge of event coordination makes me the “go-to” when planning your special day. With an emphasis in marketing from the University of Colorado, I am a professional in visual aesthetics. On top of that, I am a life long learner and constantly push myself to stay at the forefront of the wedding industry. Additionally, I am a lover of love and nothing makes me happier than being in the presence of two souls who have found their one true match.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I absolutely love taking time to explore this amazing city we live in, San Diego! Some of my favorite restaurants include Snooze in Hillcrest, for breakfast, Kettner Exchange, for lunch, and the Marine Room, for dinner to take in the gorgeous San Diego ocean views! If you’re looking to spend some time in the gorgeous Southern California weather, I suggest checking out the beautiful architecture and Japanese Friendship Garden at Balboa Park before making your way over to Coronado Beach!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to dedicate my shoutout to both my brother, Brandon Zelasko and my mentor, Catherine Bachelier Smith . As fellow business owners, both of these individuals provide a great base and space for me to bounce ideas off of and act as a great support system.
