We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabella Phillips and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isabella, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite quote is “Everything happens for a reason.” I truly believe this to be true because I do not believe in forcing anything. What is meant for me will come to me. If something does not go my way, it’s because something better is coming to me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am still working on growing on my social media channels but in the last two weeks my following has been going up especially on TikTok. There has been times where I have been discouraged but creating content is something I really enjoy doing. I’ve learned to be more patient and enjoy my journey.

I would love the world to know me and who I am as a person and as a mother. I am learning to show the my audience my life more through my content

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. I live in Oceanside, California. It’s a cute beach city in North San Diego county. I’m about 30 minutes away from downtown San Diego or about an hour and half away from La (if I’m lucky). The beach is always a must for someone who does not live near the beach. Oceanside has the best downtown area with lots of rooftop bars and amazing dinning experiences. If we want some adventure, I would probably take a day trip to LA. The Santa Monica pier is always a good idea. If I’m feeling something more laid back, we'[ll go down south to the LA Jolla Cove and watch the seals.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to acknowledge my boyfriend Brandon. Cheesy I know but he has supported me ever since I voiced to him what I want to do with my life. He is very involved in the social media world and has given me the advice and support to encourage my social media journey.
