We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of Cardiff Sweets is the genuine passion for bringing joy to others. By creating personalized cookies that reflect the tastes and preferences of family and friends, the brand was built on a foundation of thoughtfulness and care. This emphasis on meaningful connections and personalized experiences not only resonates with customers but also fosters loyalty and emotional engagement. The focus on crafting products that make people smile contributes significantly to the brand’s appeal and growth.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have spent over 30 years in the high-tech semiconductor industry, focusing on product marketing and communications. However, I felt a lack of creativity in my work environment and wasn’t thriving. To address this, I took a single class that opened the door to an entirely new passion. It has taken years to refine my skills, and I continue to learn every day.
What sets me apart is my belief that, while cookies may seem simple, they serve as a special touch to celebrate individuals and make moments memorable. I’m proud of my journey from a corporate career to creating art through cookies, which has allowed me to express my creativity and spread joy.

The path hasn’t always been easy. I faced challenges in balancing my previous career with my passion for cookie artistry. Persistence, a willingness to learn, and the support of my family helped me overcome obstacles along the way.
One crucial lesson I’ve learned is the importance of continuous learning. Whether professionally or personally, seeking new knowledge and inspiration is vital for growth. Ultimately, I want the world to know that my brand is built on a foundation of creativity, personalization, and the belief that even the smallest gestures can bring joy and connection.
