We had the good fortune of connecting with Form Design Collective and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Form Design Collective, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Our business is one that unifies comfort and beauty, balance and calm, form and function. Something we notice with all of our clients is that they are happier and more productive when their space reflects who they are and are more comfortable. During the pandemic we noticed that people really thrive in well-curated spaces. This time showed us the importance of a thoughtful and versatile space and the significance of a home that truly reflects ones personality and style. Our business really took off during this time and something we felt important was to listen to the needs and desires of the client in order to make their space comfortable, stylish, and their own.

Throughout our journey personally and professionally, we’ve always admired that the home is where people come together. It’s important that people feel proud of their space and that it’s a true reflection of who they are and where they came from, the things that are important to them, their journey, their family traditions, and so on. The home is a place to be celebrated and shared with the world.

An element of this business that we are proud to participate in is our focus on sustainability. We often source antique, second hand furniture. We find that not only is this better for the planet, but also brings charm and warmth to a home. We love that each of these pieces often times tells a story and is either unique or extremely familiar to its owner.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a Los Angeles-based interior design firm, founded by Principal designers Kelsey Porter and Ryann Stanger. We offer a one-of-a-kind approach to design, creating loved and lived in spaces for our clients that tell their own story through the art of design and the comfort of their home.

We believe in creating environments that are reflective of our client’s personality and lifestyle, and ensure a cohesive narrative throughout the entire project without losing sight of the details that make both our client and their home unique and timeless. We offer not only home decor tips and accessories, but also lifestyle content, fashion favorites, family friendly recommendations, and curated experiences!

We started our individual interior design journeys each managing our own successful studios. We connected on a project and quickly discovered that our stylistic choices and core values aligned and we have been collaborating on projects ever since. We established Form Design Collective in 2024 in Los Angeles, California. This innovative collective thrives as a comprehensive studio known for its expertise in designing bespoke residential spaces and curated experiences.
