We had the good fortune of connecting with Fernanda Brandini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fernanda, what do you attribute your success to?
I definitely believe that the success of the Brazilian Keratin Bar is because I truly care about my clients as a person. I see them all as party of my family and they can feel that.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a hairstylist who specializes in keratin treatments. Moving from Brasil where this treatment is extremely popular, I’ve notice that in San Diego we lack on qualified professionals so I decided to open my salon that specializes in it as well I train other hairstylists.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the beach and food scenery. If I have a friend visiting I would take them to visit Coronado, La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside beaches. Dinner at the Campfire in Carlsbad and a sunset drink at the Rooftop Bar at the Mission Pacific hotel in Oceanside are a must!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give this credit to all my clients. They are the reason why I have never gave up and kept on going when times were difficult. It is a blessing for me to work and meet such special and powerful women. They are a total inspiration
