Meet Dustin Becker | Chief Elixir Officer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dustin Becker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dustin, what do you attribute your success to?
Life Endurance! I’ve had such an absolute awesome life full of ups and downs. I had a rough childhood but I also had a good childhood so I’ve been on both sides of the fence. Everything always comes back to friends though. Anytime I’ve needed anything, someone was always there for me. It’s a beautiful feeling and that’s why you see a lot of the businesses I touch have some sort of give back attached to them. Friends are family and family comes first.

What should our readers know about your business?
Being a hemp infused, syrup brand, Dad’s Elixir is more than just a business … it’s a family! Dad always says that this business is “For the people, by the people.”

Dad originally started this venture, in order to have an alternative to alcohol, while attending social events. Having spent countless nights at music venues, he noticed something other than alcohol was needed. Along came the idea of concocting a drinkable, weed syrup, that would rock your socks … Elixir was born. 🙂

As Dad’s Elixir continues to grow, we continue to expand our “collaboration family” edition elixirs. We started with musicians in the reggae community and have since added to the list; hip hop artists, extreme sports athletes, edm djs .. just awesome humans in general!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have friends come into town all the time from SD airport and the first place we stop is Golden State Greens. A premium experience for a dispensary with a great selection. Stopping for authentic, San Diego, Mexican food would also be a must! I’d take them to one of our perfect beaches, of course, and then probably end the day with live reggae music at the belly up, music box, or winstons.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Major shout out to Mom for being the glue that holds us all together. She has such a tender loving care, she puts into the business and the people. Her unconditional love is priceless & she’s one of the hardest working women in this industry.

Also a big shout out to the family tribe that shows so much love and supports to us, as well as each of our talented collaborators that help us continue to push our creative boundaries .. and brand!
