Meet Donna Capitle | Licensed Esthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Donna Capitle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Donna, what role has risk played in your life or career?
To me, taking risks just means that you’re open to opportunity. Whether that’s being open to learning from failure or mistakes, or being open to the possibility of success. It takes a lot of courage and trust in yourself and in your work when taking risks in your business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Throughout this last year, I have gone through many trials and errors. It felt like I can admit that I felt a little lost sometimes but, I had also gained a lot of new insight and knowledge of that I want Velour Esthetics to become. I have taken different paths to try to perfect my technique in facials and I have also travelled off trying out other services. Which I later realized that facials will have always have my heart. Knowing that your clients trust you and are amazed by their results, sometimes can lead to opening up the service menu to offer more services. Which is great! But sometimes, the best thing is to do is to continue to invest in what you’re already great at and build up from there. Velour Esthetics is a place for beauty and relaxation! I want my clients to come in leaving their concerns on the table and leave feeling rejuvenated and more beautiful than they did before.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in San Diego! The first place will always be the beach! I grew up going to La Jolla and Del Mar in the summer, spending hours at the beach. The best thing to do is to have a picnic. So, I would drive us to Board and Brew for some sandwiches, lay out a blanket, and listen to the waves while we enjoy our sandwiches! We would then grab some boba and probably end up at a karaoke bar somewhere in Convoy!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without the love and endless support of my loved ones, I would not have been able to push through a lot of my own fears and doubts. They remind me everyday of who I am and the importance of putting that into my work and, sharing that with others. It has almost been a year since I opened doors for Velour Esthetics! I have met so many wonderful new people since then and I can’t thank them enough for their support for my growing business. I am always so excited when meeting a new client knowing that they trust in me and my work. Without you guys, Velour Esthetics truly wouldn’t be what it is today.
