We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that my business has given me is … not to be selfish by not wanting others to do the same as me, because I realize that this only generates enemies and bad vibes, apart from the fact that the objective is not achieved. for which I have always fought, which is: that everyone who needs to communicate or develop their speech and language achieve it. The world needs more people with love and that instead of competing we support each other to empower ourselves “the sun rises for everyone.”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have a degree in special education with a specialty in hearing and language, I have prepared myself as a language therapist at a clinical level, mainly in patients with autism to be able to communicate. Currently I have a center called “Tell it with speech therapy” is a comprehensive center in speech therapy, which is made up of more than 10 speech therapists and psychologists. I am proud to be able to meet such an important need in the human being as being able to communicate with my entire work team, making it possible to provide a human and quality service, where we support each of the patients and their families in the process. All this would not have been possible for the whole team and having clear objectives, always having a constant motivation to want to learn for all the patients who require it. And the most important thing to always have an open mind to want to learn, always take all the good to learn from every situation that may arise. I can say that it has been easier than difficult, because when you like what you do, you hardly ever see the wrong thing. Along the way I have learned how important it is to have clear goals sooo clear, only then will it be easier to achieve it. I must share that I fight every day to be the best version of myself to be happier every day and have a full and peaceful life, I believe that if only we could learn to love each other without prejudice and conditions, all this would be very different.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Today I have learned that life is simply beautiful, with each of its details and that if only we could value that, everything would look beautiful, we would be able to admire every detail of this planet and be grateful for what we can, see, feel. , touch, eat, smell and more, it is a luxury that not everyone could have. It is nice to be able to learn to value the little, much that life offers us. Otherwise we will never be satisfied with anything that is in our sight.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Of course, I must give thanks to many people who have taught me so much in life, mainly to God and my parents, who have been my greatest example to achieve everything so far, then to all my teachers who never cut my curiosity about want to keep learning and always do my best. In the same way as an endless number of specialists, my patients every day are a great motivation in my life, my boyfriend, institutions such as Children’s Hospital of the Californias, Teleton, Learning and Development Center, Vigotsky Institute, Ecavi and many more …
