We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniela Vianna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniela, how do you think about risk?
Risk-taking has been an intrinsic part of my journey. I realize that I would rather go all-in on something I believe in than live by a steady payroll. This mindset is what made me get to where I am right now.
But breaking the ceiling comes at the cost of diving into the unknown.
Taking the risk to trail blaze my own path is what fueled my soul. I risked all I knew as my “comfort zone” when I moved to Australia to start a new life; I risked my stable income when I left the corporate world to work on my first business, then I risked my Australian residency to move to the US and start the production of Ephemeris’ line of Astrological jewelry, which has also risked my entire savings account.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Founded in 2019 – alongside my friend Guilherme Verri – Ephemeris creates custom, handcrafted astrological jewelry, making the ancient art and science of astrology accessible to all. Each piece features a detailed, easy-to-read astrological birth chart and comes with three in-depth reports designed to help further unlock the mysteries of the universe and deepen your knowledge of yourself. With over $1M in sales and 15,000 unique pieces delivered since its inception, Ephemeris is proudly creating an engaged community of astrology lovers.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A perfect week in SD would be filled with Surf Sessions in La Jolla, walks around Balboa Park, and delicious afternoons at Little Italy.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this Shoutout to my business partner Guilherme Verri; to my Baotris mentor John Cheng and to all of the people in my family & relationships who loved me enough to let me go.
