Meet Claudia Lomeli | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudia Lomeli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Claudia, what inspires you?
I am inspired by everyday people especially the people in my community…from the paletero man walking down the street to the small mom and pop shops nearby. Really, I find inspiration in people who want to do better and that show up every single day, no matter what. They remind me of my own family, my roots. People that aren’t afraid to be the first in their family to reach higher levels and accomplish things that no one has. People that don’t give up when they hear ‘you can’t buy a home’, the ones that keep their focus and find solutions to reach their homeownership goals.

What should our readers know about your business?
The readers should know that I am part of a real estate team: The Lepe Team. This team is lead by Voltaire Lepe who is the CEO & Broker of Lepe Tendwell Properties, he has been in the top 1% of realtors in San Diego County for many years. This year he celebrated his 20th anniversary in the industry which you can imagine the experience that comes with that, all of which has taught me how to be the Buyer’s Agent that I am. In my role as a Buyer’s Agent, I get to educate families on the benefits of being homeowners and ultimately I am able to guide them through their home buying process. I also help investors build wealth by helping them build their real estate portfolio. Last year I was able to help 45 buyers, the average agent helps 4 families a year. Joining forces with Voltaire has taught me so much, not only about real estate sales and the practice but the real power of real estate and how one can reach wealth through it. With that said, I love being a resource to anyone who is looking to make a real estate move.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
San Diego is such a fun place to visit and there’s so much to do! When a friend is in town, I do have a few faves I like to show them. We would start our morning picking up some coffee from Cafe Moto located in Barrio Logan. Just around the corner on National Ave is a small strip of new shops, full of culture and homemade things. We would definitely pick up some cute accessories there. By then we’ll most likely be hungry and there is nothing like some tj style tacos from Tacos el Gordo! Last but not least you can’t miss a sunset when you visit San Diego. We’ll head to Sunset cliffs and enjoy the sunset and the sound of the waves. My kind of tour day!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I love giving shoutouts, I couldn’t do it without my tribe: the list is long but most definitely: Vanessa (my sister) for always believing in me, Rosie (my best friend) for being that person I can count on or talk to, she’s my photographer, my therapist & best friend all in one, Angelina (my mother) for inspiring me to be the best version of me, Jorge (my boyfriend) for supporting my career, for allowing me to be late to dinner because I have to finish an offer, thank you for never complaining. My whole family, they believe in me even when I don’t believe in myself. Your love and support means everything to me.
