Meet Christopher Ray Coleman | Speaker, Author, & Burnout Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Ray Coleman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christopher Ray, how does your business help the community?
Triggered 2 Triumph helps people break cycles of burnout and unlock sustainable performance. We serve students, athletes, leaders, and entrepreneurs; high performers who are often expected to carry heavy loads without ever being taught how to manage the weight.
Our work goes deeper than just motivation or mindset. We help individuals build systems that support their mental health, emotional resilience, and performance goals — all backed by neuroscience and lived experience. It’s about creating a space where people can thrive without burning out, where pushing for greatness doesn’t mean losing yourself in the process.
What sets us apart is how personal this is. I’ve lived the pressure. I know what it’s like to be driven, successful on paper, but still struggling inside. So when we work with people, we’re not handing out cookie-cutter advice — we’re equipping them with tools that work in real life, especially when things get hard.
Our impact is about more than achievement. Every time I stand on a stage and speak to an audience, it’s about building people up in a way that lasts.

What should our readers know about your business?
Triggered 2 Triumph is a performance and well-being consultancy that helps people prevent burnout, optimize flow, and optimize their performance, especially in high-pressure environments. We work with student, athletes, business owners, and organizational leaders who are used to carrying the weight of the world, often with no roadmap to carry themselves.
What sets us apart is how combine science, strategy, and story. Burnout isn’t just a wellness issue—it’s a performance issue, a leadership issue, and a culture issue. Our work goes beneath the surface. We help people recognize the emotional and neurological patterns keeping them stuck and build practical systems rooted in neuroscience to unlock sustainable energy, clarity, and momentum.
The work I do today is built on the back of personal experience. After my athletic career ended, I went through a dark life after sports transition that stripped me of my identity and direction. But I found my footing again—first through writing and working out, then by diving into sales. I started at the entry level and quickly rose through six promotions in just nine months to become a District Manager, then leading a team of 150 reps and generating over six figures in sales from scratch. That experience didn’t just sharpen my business acumen; it showed me how powerful people can be when they have structure, belief, and the right kind of pressure.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is this: performance isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what matters from a place of wholeness. People don’t need more motivational fluff. When I partner and collaborate with event planners, I focus on the tools that actually help people feel, think, and lead better—especially when life gets heavy.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s that your well-being isn’t just important; it’s foundational. It’s not a luxury; it’s the leverage that fuels everything else. At Triggered 2 Triumph, we believe burnout doesn’t have to be a rite of passage and we exist to prove it. Our mantra is bold, but simple: Burnout Ends Here. We don’t wait for the crash—we eliminate the conditions that cause it before it ever starts. We help people realize that burnout is no longer the price of ambition. Not just to perform better, but to live better—creating change that starts within and ripples far beyond them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I haven’t been in SoCal that long, so I’m still getting familiar with the area, but there are already a few spots I’d definitely recommend. You can’t go wrong visiting Pasadena—the Rose Bowl is iconic, just being around that historic stadium is an experience in itself. Then you’ve got Monrovia, where they host a Friday Night Street Fair that’s full of local vendors, music, and just good community energy. And if you’re a family person, especially with young kids, you can’t pass up a trip to Ontario Mills, where the Rainforest Cafe brings the jungle vibes to life with animated animals and a fun atmosphere that’s perfect for kids (and adults who are still kids at heart).

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to dedicate this shoutout to my wife, Gabrielle Coleman. We’ve known each other since 2010 and shared a deep friendship long before we got married on February 22nd of this year. Her efforts, support, mentorship, love, and constant encouragement as a wife have been the second engine I didn’t know I was missing — and because of her, I’m truly skyrocketing in life.
