We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Crenshaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, how does your business help the community?
At The Lifestyle of Joy, we are more than just a business. We are organizing warriors helping people all over the world, clear their physical and mental clutter. Our goal is to leave all of our clients with less stress, a beautiful home and more time for joy!

I am also so passionate about giving back to our communities. A portion of our sales are donated to the No Kid Hungry foundation, every month, to help feed children in need.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Lifestyle of Joy is a professional organizing business, but at it’s core, it’s a lifestyle company. We use simple and easy techniques to transform any home or business into a smooth-operating and less stressful lifestyle.

Letting go is hard for everyone. My team of organizers and I make that transition easy and doable by walking the journey with our clients. We spend so much time with our clients that they become an extended part of the family and our compassion and understanding, without judgement makes the process seamless.

My biggest challenge was the pandemic and navigating what that might look like in the future for our company. Being able to now offer virtual services, including coaching and classes has opened up the possibility for our clients to have many options that fit their budget and need and allows us to help people all over the world.

Some days, it’s necessary for me to work long hours to meet deadlines, but my favorite part of being a business owner is setting my own schedule. I get to make it to every baseball game and assembly and spend quality time with my boys and my husband. I am living a lifestyle of joy and that is what I want for all my clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love being able to live in beautiful San Diego. The last time my best friend visited we went to brunch at Cafe Monarch in La Jolla. The views are spectacular and the food is just as amazing!

And you can’t visit without making time for the beach! We love taking the kids to Belmont Park at Mission Beach. We played some carnival games, made sand castles on the beach with the kids and rode the rollercoaster.

Finish it off with an early dinner at Barbusa in Little Italy for a delicious meal and awesome ambience!

For drinks and nightlife, I love taking friends to True North in North Park. It’s such an eclectic group of people, music and drinks. They have something for everyone!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As a mom of two boys, I wanted to show them that living your dreams is possible at any age. They are my motivation to keep going through the hard days and the reason that I work so hard every day to create a comfortable life for us. But my husband is my biggest supporter. Because of his dedication to our family and how hard he works, I was able to venture out on this endeavor and create my business. I owe everything to him; he made this possible, he encourages me every day and as the President in his company, his wisdom and advice is priceless. Being able to truly change the lives of so many people, including us, is a dream I get to wake up to every day.
