Hi Casey, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I enjoy going the non-traditional route. Little risk, little reward doesn’t excite me. Some of the more brash decisions I have made in the last decade have worked out very well from entering the medicinal cannabis industry, inventing a product called Chapfloss, starting a blog, Shopify store, investing in cryptocurrencies, etc. I’m a “swing for the fences” type of guy so whichever way I decide to go, I go 100 mph.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Ever since I moved to San Diego, I’ve been subconsciously trying to figure out a way to not have a boss. I’m proud that I’m finally there. The idea of having no UNWANTED responsibilities and no UNWANTED obligations and to live life MY way was enough motivation to figure something out. Or in my case, many things. There are so many ways to create a revenue stream that does not require having to be somewhere taking orders from someone. This is one of the reasons I built www.motivationniche.com

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I used to live in Little Italy right down the street from Queenstown which quickly became one of my favorite spots. Other favorites include Ironside, El Camino, WineHouse, Ballast Point, Craft & Commerce, Puerto La Boca, etc. A hike in Del Mar, La Jolla or Sunset Cliffs is a must. Dinner in Coronado at Stake Chophouse and stroll around the Del after makes for a beautiful night. For a match day, I’d head to Shakespears, The Harp or Bluefoot to support Manchester United. Head out to Temecula for the weekend is a fun “staycation”. Options are endless in San Diego.
