We had the good fortune of connecting with Carla Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carla, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Being around supportive and positive people having a good time, it makes me feel comfortable and gives me a sense of warmth. Being around positive people radiates nothing but good energy.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I’m an amateur actor soon to become full time, I’m always excited when I get booked for either a film or a ad. The way that I got to where I’m going is just by knowing people who know people that’s literally it and also staying dedicated if your really serious about it your gonna give it your all, it’s definitely not easy a lot of challenges and obstacles are going to come your way but you just gotta keep it going, the good out ways the bad if your willing to push through long enough. Someone once told me “it’s not so much about your resume it’s about the people you know” and that’s the most truest thing I’ve ever heard. The people you know or meet along the way can take you as far in life as you want to go but it’s up to you, it starts with you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The first place I’d take my bestfriend is La Jolla shores to go look at the seals,then we’ll go eat at either Texas Roadhouse or Ruth Chris steak house, I’ll show her around downtown like little Italy then stop by the lighthouse up in Point Loma, cruise around the beach maybe stop at queens and kings cantina for a drink or night out then maybe the last day take a walk either around lake Jennings or Kate sessions park spend some time at the birch aquarium as well, I love just cruising around town and looking at sights
