We had the good fortune of connecting with Cara Erangey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cara, how does your business help the community?
When people are on a journey of self discovery they are ready to make a change in themselves. Once the door gets cracked open, there is often a floodgate of healing that takes place. I help people get a different perspective on the experiences they are having and it helps them make decisions to ultimately better their lives and therefore bettering the lives of those around them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a passionate astrologer dedicated to helping individuals unlock their potential and step into their most fulfilling lives. Using the natal chart as a foundation, I offer one-on-one readings that provide deep insight into your unique strengths, challenges, and purpose.
I blend an intuitive and creative approach to astrology in order to empower my clients to understand themselves on a profound level, offering clarity and direction for their personal and professional journeys. My mission is to guide them toward self-discovery and transformation and help them align with their authentic path. I put a lot of effort in to making astrology really accessible and understandable and created a weekly podcast that helps explain the transits and planets.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am probably the worst person to ask where to go to do anything. I don’t really go out except to run errands and be in nature. I like the beach, but I wont say where because every spot is so crowded! I like to walk around South Lake in San Marcos with my boyfriend and visit some of the hiking trails in Calavera Hills. You could catch me shopping at Trader Joes, because the food I make from there is better than what I have had out lately. I do love a good espresso at bird rock coffee roasting after a late breakfast or lunch at Richard Walkers. I am sorry I’m so boring! Once in a while I make it out of my lair to Little Italy and I have had some incredible food there but I cant remember the names of the restaurants. I love to go to the zoo and ride the sky ride and check in on the animals from time to time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The team at Mystic Soul Ritual Shop in Oceanside California has been incredible to me in my journey. The owner, Elise, has curated a warm and supportive environment. She uses her storefront as a way to promote and encourage her community. She is very progressive and creates a safe platform for spirituality and esoteric expression. Elise is truly a revolutionary individual and her store is the epitome of the Age of Aquarius- innovative, visionary, and deeply committed to empowering others on their personal and professional journeys.
