Meet Brenda Chavez | Experience Curator specialized in Baja California wine tours

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brenda Chavez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brenda, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
In my journey there has been a couple of times or situations that have made me question the next step. Thankfully, in those occasions new opportunities and challenges come up, I take a leap of faith following whatever is shown to me and things just seem to work out and the most evident sign that this is the path to follow is just this: If it naturally comes and flows then it must be for a higher reason that I don´t see at first. When I see the satisfaction in my clients face, when I feel the chills in my skin viewing the road on our way to the new destination, when I am challenge in a way that I discover a new skill and fills me with hope is a sign to keep going.
The sign to give up? When nothing seems to work out, communication with clients, weather is not safe and does not feel right that is the moment to refocus on something new.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an architect, one of the reasons I feel passionate about architecture is that in order to design you have to put yourself in the shoes of the future user, this same perspective I can apply in the creative process when I have to design my travelers tour. It excites me that I can still be creative through my business. The growth of my business definitely was through consistency and commitment, always putting first the clients and setting up their experience, they were occasions where there was no income, I actually had a job as an architect that more than once cover the expenses on the new project, still I focus on planting the seed of a good experience for more people to join.
Honesty and communication are keys that open the door of success; Tourism is a field that requires team work and innovation, it requires a lot of social skills and learning about the needs of a client.
Through my business I have been able to learn about different cultures, traveling allows a cultural exchange, Dpaseito Viajes is committed to offer a curated experience based on the travelers interest and expectations, always bringing a surprise element that would help make it an unforgettable visit, given the opportunity we want to approach to your destinations on a safe and cultural environment.
