Meet Blanca Villaseñor | Entrepeneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Blanca Villaseñor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Blanca, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Musa actually came to me as a concept, a boutique where you would be accepted just as you are, guide them to take advantage of their attributes and make peace with what they don’t feel as comfortable. Have fun and bring color to their life no matter the age, size, height and weight you are. Because numbers and letters do not represent us. BE YOUR OWN MUSE.
You can find us in Ensenada B.,C México

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My name is Blanca and I grew up in a mexican family, life came things got difficult as in many others families, mine was needing more of me, it took time to realize that I made a life out of fear, not out of joy. I chose a career, because I need it to keep studying but I was never sure of what I wanted, I am an architec and I learned a lot but until pandemia arrived and made me realize how uncertain life is, that goes on, really fast, and sometimes even before we thought, So I decided to start my own project and I invited my mom to collaborate with me.
MUSA came and even though we didn’t have any odds on our side, I have pushed myself to become the person I aspire to be. I believed in that little spark inside that child that loved to sell used clothes outside her home, when she didn’t even know how to add or subtract, and needed to convince her older sister to help her get the job done.
We are always learning most of the times comes in abrupt ways, we haven’t value the importance of respect, empathy, time and congruence to communicate.
My piece of advice is; take everything you have and make it work, it makes you hell as a person, turn around and changed everything you didn’t feel comfortable with, work on yourself as you work in life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well seriously we have the best seafood, so let’s start from there… great sunsets and craft beer, best spots to surf and many locations to enjoy a good moment with your friends.
