We had the good fortune of connecting with Bethany Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bethany, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
In order to be successful, figure out what works for yourself and your business. What works for others will not always work for you. I tried so hard to push my business through social media outlets but I truly am an introvert. I do not enjoy spending so much time and energy on my social media platforms. The majority of my business has thrived through personal referrals and by word of mouth. My energy work and the clientele I have acquired was built entirely on trust. Even when working with a client for the first time, they trust me because someone they trusted told them about my work.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I found Intuitive Healing almost six years ago. I was at the darkest place in my life and was trying to find a holistic modality of healing. I experienced PTSD, anxiety, depression, survivors guilt, and a multitude of other dark emotions. When I started my journey of energetic healing I immediately felt a shift in my life. This is where I was always supposed to be. Not only was I going to change my life for the better, but I was going to make a difference in my community. Intuitive Healing is reading your energy and finding out where the growth, healing, cleansing, and space for creating is needed for the highest and most received level of change. I also love to incorporate my teachings as a yoga teacher with my clients. I’ve found a beautiful outlet for my yoga clients in at-risk communities teaching with the local Non-Profit OGYOGA founded by JoAnne Jaffe. My ultimate purpose is to open a mentor program for at-risk youth with a focus on holistic healing. My biggest lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay to forgive myself, to move forward, and to use my life experience to help others through their own journey. I am here to heal, to motivate, and to bring others greatest dreams into fruition; even the dreams they didn’t even know could be realized.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to thank my teacher Kathryn Schiff. Voted one of the Top 50 Psychics in the country, She taught me everything I know. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her guidance in connecting with my ancestral gift.
