Meet Ashllen Abigail Hernandez | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashllen Abigail Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashllen Abigail, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
In this case, a professional cleaning services can bring many benefits to the community, such as helping people in their work life balance since today’s world can seem hard to keep up sometimes even in the simplest matters like maintaining a clean house environment can be a struggle. Especially after the pandemic because we as a company are aware that most of us without even noticing we could be going through a pandemic fatigue or a “COVID” burnout that can cause anxiety, Feeling tired, lack of motivation, feeling like you don’t have a sense of purpose, Feeling depressed and isolated; But having an uncluttered, clean space can help a person focus better and feel less depressed and less anxious in general and that’s what our service can provide even to those who are financially struggling.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business focuses on providing a service of a professional cleaning service to every family no matter their social status. The service we provide is very competitive, however, the only flaw that we found based on how competitors is limit to whom they can provide their service to. Our competitors, specially growing companies provide a more expensive services, us in the other hand, we focus on making our service available for everyone.
I’m excited for the future I could hold, to grow in the business industry, To grow as an entrepreneur and the next challenges and goals I will face, that’s what most exited now. My next plan is to open a bakery with keto and diabetic friendly products that I know will help many people including my parents.
Something I can say with confidence is that it wasn’t easy to get to the point I am now business-wise. When starting any type of business the one thing It could affect your goals is your life work balance and I learned the hard way. At 17 years old my father and I opened a small selling business using many platforms like eBay, but at that age we can all agree that most of us have no life plan yet and if we do it all seems to be disorganized and that reflects on our lives. At a young age responsibilities these days like going to school cleaning the house, practicing for your license test or finding a part time job are hard enough to follow up. Now, imagine starting a business from zero with no experience. At the age of 18 I slowly got the hang of creating a productive yet efficient life work balance, meaning I had to put limits, be constant, and always put goals ahead of me. One lesson I learned is that no matter what are your goals or how perfectionist you are always ALWAYS leave a space for your health. Sadly we are not robots, there will be a time where either your physical or mental health will catch up to you if you don’t take care of it and when starting a business you have to have flexibility on every aspect of your life and work or it wont work, is that easy and simple.
I want the world to know that its not late to become an entrepreneur or pursue a dream. It doesn’t matter the experience, your age, the time, or the doubts you have what truly matters is the effort you put on the dreams you pursue. I have two quotes that can summarize my story one is by Charles Buxton which it says “You will never find time for anything. You must make it.” and the other is by Mary Kay Ash “When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. The choice is yours and yours alone. Refuse to throw in the towel. Go that extra mile that failures refuse to travel. It is far better to be exhausted from success than to be rested from failure.” Following your dreams is an exhausting, draining effort, but the rewards are well worth it all.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being honest I don’t know my city too well but I have travel around the world and the closest spots to check out is Japanese Friendship Garden in San Diego specially if you are a plant lover, want to enjoy a walk and have peace in mind this will be the perfect place to visit. Also I will highly recommend visiting Tastu Ramen in Los Angeles, so far its my favorite spot to eat and I highly enjoy watching my food being prepared.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wouldn’t have made it this far without giving credit to my parents. When I needed the most help in my life through my 18’s my parents not only supported me, they also provided me all the support and recourses for me to keep going. I will also like to give a shoutout to my psychologist who help me change my life during my hardest days and gave me courage to pursue goals that I never thought I could reach. And the shoutout is to the Shoutout SoCal Magazines itself, and the reason why is because they made me realize how far I have come and help me reflects on who I became. Thank you!
