Meet Angel Eclipse | Emmy Award Winning Drag Queen

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angel Eclipse and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angel, what do you attribute your success to?
There are a few factors that play into the success i have had. One would definitely be, to not be afraid of taking risk and the failures that come with it. There are so many times i have been told no; try again and you aren’t good enough. I continue to try and grow from each experience and they have led me to some incredible experiences. Winning an Emmy, opening for Chappell Roan, touring the world with a band, model for Kim Chi beauty. It’s all to do because i took the risk.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Once of the things i am most proud of is being able to be selected as an opening act for Chappell Roan in San Diego. It was such an incredible honor to meet her and be apart of her show.
I am someone who is always willing to help anyone out, i will always give my honest opinion, feedback when asked. Being able to accept feedback and put the work into your art is needed. Real growth hurts, and is uncomfortable but needed to be prepared professionally.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First thing first, we are going down to Mexico, and stay in Ensenada for a day or two. Sea food on the beach, nice Airbnb and horseback riding. Here in San Diego, we would go to born and raised in Little Italy for dinner. Holy palleta for dessert. Sunset cliffs at night to really listen to the waves and enjoy the night sky. Number one fifth ave for a drag show. Gossip Grill for the Cabaret Drag Brunch on Sunday with the beautiful Nina Bel Vande.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to Ross and Richard Bixler. They have been my biggest cheerleaders, taken the role of being a mentor when needed and just given me so much love and respect during the evolution of my drag career. I truly wouldn’t be where i am, without them
