We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Montali and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Customers service and customer experience are the most important parts of Dream Organization. We believe that every project is a blank slate and every customer has difference needs, goals and visions. By being patient, listening intently and responding to clients promptly, we are able to give everyone a great experience and bring their dream vision of organization to life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Dream Organization and is full service professional organizing company that aims to bring their clients dream spaces to life. We work one on one with our clients to discover their needs and goals when it comes to living stress free in a functional and organized home. I started my career as a Visual Merchandiser in retail and then started designing closets for California Closets. I realized that I can bring my passion for making clothes look beautiful and optimizing storage space and started my business Dream Organization.

I have learned that you must let go of your ego as a business owner and realize that your client always comes first. Listening is more important than speaking!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start out having a Greek lunch in Astoria, Queens where I live now. I am a Queens, NY native so know all the great restaurants to go to. We would then head to Manhattan for a day of art and late afternoon cocktails on a rooftop bar over looking the city. We would then go to dinner at Scarpetta and head back home. The rest of the week would involve shopping and dining in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a trip to Central Park, a walk down the Highline and some more borough hopping.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to Debra Russo who is a designer for California Closets and my co-host on the 2 Girls 1 Closet Podcast. We have built a great referral system where we help each other and provide great customer service to each other’s clients. Our businesses go hand and hand and we are a one stop shop for all things closets and organization.
