We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandra Ruhl and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexandra, what do you attribute your success to?
My own struggles and challenges with self-image, Had I not gone through my own weight loss journey, I never would have known what it felt like to be uncomfortable in my own skin; to be so ashamed that I did not put a bathing suit on for over 5 years. Understanding the emotional turmoil of being over weight has not only made me a stronger person, but it allows me to connect to my clients on a more personal level. The success of my brand stems from the credibility of my own story and how that has inspired others that they can do the same.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Habyt is a high touch approach to helping women achieve their goals in a safe and sustainable way. Our habit-based, macronutrient focused, nutrition program offers all of the support our clients need to get there. The 90-day customized coaching experience is designed to help our clients not only reach their physical goals, but to also develop a better relationship with food overall. We want women to ditch the diet mentality and start adopting a healthier lifestyle instead. We pride ourselves for offering a program that is built for women by women, with coaches who put our client’s goals, lifestyle, and personality first. What sets us apart is that our team of coaches have all gone through their own health transformations and have firsthand experience of what this journey consists of. Furthermore, with my background in psychology, we are able to dive into deeper rooted issues around food. Most of our client’s success starts from the inside and works its way towards the exterior. We believe that feeding your body its unique blend of nutrients, everyday, tailored to your specific needs will result in a healthier, happier you who is finally experiencing food freedom.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Taking the leap of owning my business would never have happened had it not been for my father and older sister. They were my rocks, mentors and inspiration through it all. They believed in my ability to create something that would one day turn into something unimaginable. I owe it all to you two for believing in me during times I was overwhelmed with self-doubt.
