Hi Alena, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My name is Alena Apollonsky and I’m the owner of “Your Lovely Moments”, a luxury picnic company.

From a very young age, I had a dream – a dream of creating magical moments for people to enjoy. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of picnics, how they can turn an ordinary day into something extraordinary. So, when the time came to start my own business, I knew I should be thinking about how to help someone solve their problem – celebrate in the outdoors, the fancy way. The happy way.

I studied different styles, themes, and setups, trying to understand what makes a picnic truly special. Armed with this knowledge, I began “Your Lovely Moments”, a company dedicated to turning dreams into reality, one picnic at a time.

The process wasn’t easy. It required a lot of hard work, dedication, and a touch of creativity. I spent countless hours sourcing the finest picnic accessories, designing beautiful setups, and perfecting every detail to ensure that each experience was perfect.

But through it all, I never lost sight of my goal – to create magical moments that would be remembered forever. And today, as I look back at how far we’ve come, I can proudly say that we’ve achieved that and more.

At “Your Lovely Moments”, we’re all about creating magical picnic experiences that leave a lasting impression. What makes us different is our keen eye for detail and our love for making every moment special. Even if it requires going extra mile or two. Many other companies offer beautiful, but standard setups, but I always ask our clients a question – is there anything else that we can do to make your celebration special?

Whether it’s a cozy date or a big celebration, we go above and beyond to make it unforgettable.
The journey to where we are today hasn’t been easy, but we’ve learned a lot along the way. We’ve learned to adapt to challenges and the importance of working together as a team.
What I want everyone to know about us is that we’re not just a picnic company – we’re memory makers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our favorite spot in town is La Jolla cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The place is magical and the views are just one-of-a-kind. From sunny skies to a beautiful sunset to a night time picnic with candles – this place offers multiple levels of, what we call – a perfect luxury picnic experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Style has always been a big influence on me, from elegant designs to trendy themes. It’s amazing how a touch of style can transform a picnic into a truly luxurious experience.

Special events have also played a significant role in inspiring me. Celebrations like weddings, birthdays, and baby showers are such joyous occasions, and being able to create memorable moments for these events is incredibly rewarding.

Lastly, my passion for fashion has been a driving force behind many of our unique picnic setups. I draw inspiration from runway trends, color palettes, and textures to create picnic experiences that are not only stylish but also timeless.

Together, these inspirations fuel my creativity and drive to make “Your Lovely Moments” a truly unforgettable experience for our clients.
