We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Tsai and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Success is built upon failures, learning from them, and moving forward. It’s easy to feel down, but I strive to look on the bright side upon reflection and set small goals towards my larger goals.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In the past few years, I found myself doing work or studying in coffee shops. However, I rarely drink coffee.

What to order instead? Chai lattes. It soon became a drink of choice, and after a while, I thought “why don’t I blog about chai and chai lattes?”. Hence the birth of @trysomechai, a page in which I rate chai drinks and products from various stores and shops.

It was challenging to start – I never had an IG account prior, and I had never blogged or reviewed anything publicly. However, after learning from and getting inspired by other foodies, I became more familiar with posting content and growing my brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely check out a new chai place 🙂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends for supporting my IG. Also thankful to Shoutout for featuring me 🙂
