We had the good fortune of connecting with Raiventures and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Raiventures, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
As siblings, our inspiration is family. Our main goal is to support each other’s individual growth while also growing together. We strive to serve as motivation for one another, working on lasting projects and seeing how far we can go creatively. We may not always have a clear picture of what the end result may be, but we aim to enjoy the experience. Capturing family memories and candid moments has always been a big part of our lives. Thanks to our Dad and his camcorder, and later our Mom and her digital camera, we’re able to revisit special moments in time through old pictures and home videos. They taught us the importance of living life in the moment while also capturing those moments to look back on them. We want to make sure we continue do the same, and hope to encourage others to document their time doing things that they can look back on for a smile.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Primarily, Raiventures is a blog where we combine the pictures and videos each of us collect of places we visit, things we do, and moments we share as a family. Currently, our general content centers around everyday adventures. We wanted to give ourselves the opportunity to share our experiences and simple things we enjoy. Whether it’s trying a new food, or visiting a new place in our hometown, we hope that our content encourages others to go find their own adventures.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To us, planning a good time in San Diego is pretty simple. All you need is some time in nature, preferably a visit to one of the many beaches available, and some good food. Balboa Park is one of our favorite places to visit. It’s a beautiful park to take a stroll and for pictures with family and friends. When it comes to food, San Diego has a plethora of options, including Mexican, Asian, and Italian style restaurants. Truthfully, the best spots are the hidden ones you wouldn’t find on most travel accounts. A stop at Filippi’s Pizza Grotto in Imperial Beach and some dessert at the Oasis Ice Cream shop a few streets down would make a great ending to any day.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’d like to give a shoutout to some of our favorite vloggers and creatives who inspired us to go out and explore!
