Meet Jacqueline Newhall | Event Venue Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Newhall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqueline, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would say the most important factor behind the success of Casa Concordia Estate is who we have chosen to surround ourselves with. Our vendors truly are the reason we have continued to grow. Without the support, knowledge and guidance from expects in our industry we would not be here today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Casa Concordia Estate started by chance during the pandemic in 2020. There was a need for private event venues and we saw an opportunity to open up our space. The first wedding was a huge success and we haven’t looked back. It was not easy to navigate the uncertain times that covid presented but we had a strong believe that what we were offering would help others celebrate their special day. We meet wonderful people along the way that continued to support and encourage us. The biggest lesson learned is surround yourselves with positive and loving people and you can do all things!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego has so much to offer visitors and those lucky enough to live here. I would start off by taking them to enjoy our delicious Mexican food in Old Town. A trip to La Jolla shores to see the beautiful coastline. Head downtown to wander and check out all the bars. A visit to Petco Park to catch a Padres game, it is such a fun stadium. An action filled day at Del Mar Races to cheer for the ponies. A sail around the bay to see the San Diego skyline from the water. Have a delicious dinner at Mr. A’s.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to Mike and Jenn Productions! We were blessed to meet Mike and Jenn early on and they have continued to encourage and teach us so many invaluable lessons in starting a business of this nature. Truly talented photographer/videographers who love to see everyone succeed. Recognition is also due to my mom and step-dad Rod and Laura who meticulously maintain the property which they are lucky enough to call home. Couldn’t do anything with out them!
