We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashkan Kheirkhahvash and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashkan, what do you attribute your success to?
My deep understanding of the pain and challenges that international students face, brings out the passion in me to strive to continuously do better; it drives me to keep pushing forward. It is this passion that compels me to explore and innovate; to listen and implement; to make a difference.

Therefore, one of the main reasons behind the success of our brand is our desire and steadfast conviction to improve the processes for our clients–because our drive comes from a deep place; it comes from our heart.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One Key Visa helps international students from around the world with their journey to the United States.

We have a deep belief in our vision statement of “Opportunity Without Borders”

What makes me the proudest is “our people” because every day I get to work with intelligent and passionate individuals that truly care and have made the vision their own. The experience and the passion are of course passed on to our clients at every level and that is where we shine. Everyone at One Key visa takes part to listen and implement the smallest ideas that could make the process better for our clients.

The biggest obstacle has been finding the best, A-plus-caliber People. I enjoy the challenges that starting and growing a business brings, I really do! However, growing faster than we could handle, it was a challenge to find people that understood their role and who could be fantastic at it. I think the basic foundation of any organization is super important because it enables you to deliver the right product and/or service to your customers and also it helps you create the right environment where employees can grow and improve, personally and professionally. We finally assembled an all-star team and have made our foundation, solid and strong, and look forward to moving on to the next stage with the team in place.

I want the world to know that we have not even started yet! we are in the beginning and we are poised to have exponential growth because we drive with passion and patience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is going to sound selfish but I am a big foodie, So, I would say different spots with local food and beverages. I am usually that person in the group that forgets to take a picture or taking pictures is the last thing in my mind when I am out with other people because to me creating the memories at that moment is worth more than recording them.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have been lucky enough to interact and learn from talented and experienced people from different backgrounds. But, without a doubt, my wife! Day in and day out. through the ups and down, to motivate me when I need a push, and to make me realize my “why” when things get tough. But the most important is she will never tell me “what I need to hear” always tell me the truth no matter how tough and rough it may sound (seriously 🙂 )
