Meet Alison McLean | I help entrepreneurs grow their business, while caring for their health and enjoying life in the process.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alison McLean and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alison, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
When I first started my business there was so much I wanted to do. I’m also a bit of a hustler by nature, so once my business got momentum it felt like it was out of control. All of a sudden I found myself working early mornings, teaching late evening classes, and trainings and workshops on the weekend. It took my cancer and Lynch Syndrome diagnosis to open my eyes to how I was living. So I did a ton of research, and found entrepreneurs to follow and be inspired by that actually lived their lives while growing their business. So now, that’s what I help other entrepreneurs to do.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Ignite Ur Wellness Business I help other entrepreneurs grow their business. What’s different than other business coaches and masterminds is the alchemy of yes, learning proven strategies and systems. However also, during the time an entrepreneur works with me they will also learn how to trust their intuition, follow their truth and know they have their own back so they can show up in a bigger way.
This excites me because the more entrepreneurs I help, the more people they will help. So one person at a time we will be helping many.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego has so many possibilities for fun and adventure. I love the chill beaches of Encinitas for a walk, surf or lounging. If the sun is shining booking a cabana through Resort Pass is always a great way to check out all the resorts and their pools. Of course no trip is complete without taking a yoga class. I recommend Josh Vincet at Gather or hanging on the Yoga Wall at Brain Excel with Elia Nikoaelv. After class grabbing a filling meal at Nectarine Grove, followed by a glass of wine at Solterra would round out a fun and healthy day.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to thank all the coaches I’ve worked with in 1:1 sessions and all the masterminds I’ve been a part of. They’ve given me the courage to speak my truth and show up in a different way that was aligned with serving more people and enjoying life in the process.
