We had the good fortune of connecting with Carmelle Hasan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carmelle, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I believe, to some capacity, most people desire to use their business to impact their community, or the world. Honestly, I wouldn’t have my business at all if I didn’t feel as though I was impacted the world in a positive way. I own an international holistic wellness business that serves the worldwide community by providing tools & resources to achieve complete wellness (mind, body & spirit) based on bio-individuality & healing from the root. I assist women & families with achieving a life free of illness, so they can continue to live the life that they desire. If we didn’t know how important our health was prior to the last two years, we definitely do now. There is not one human being on the planet who isn’t impacted by their personal health, so what I do will always be valued in the community.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is my desire to create an individual experience for each one of my clients. I don’t want to just sell products & make money off of my community. I want their lives to be forever impacted by partnering with me for their health & healing needs. Every time I want to just create product & sell it I talk myself out of it, because each person has various needs depending on where they are in their journey. This is why I focus on bio-individuality, which means that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to health. Instead, focusing on what’s unique in our biological makeup & requirements. Each person has their own specific health needs, as well as routines, practices & preferences that work for them. I want to hear about your habits as a child & as an adult, if you suffer from trauma, symptoms you experience regularly, if you take prescribed medications or herbal supplements & your beliefs. I want to know who you are first, & then I create healing-care products, packages & programs based on what I learn about you. This way it minimizes the result of it not working, because you needed something stronger, or it enhanced your symptoms due to pairing with other medications, etc. I’m most excited about my uniqueness. Many people have told me that my business isn’t sustainable, because if I have 1,000 clients I wouldn’t be able to provide this type of experience to each one. I haven’t changed my business model to fit the societal standard. I will continue to provide the same service to my clients & evolve as I see fit, but I will never compromise the value that I provide to my clients & customers.

I’m also excited about being a plant-based vegan lifestyle chef, teaching the community to using plant-based food for healing purposes & to create healthier alternatives in their kitchen, based on their favorite foods, while introducing them to new ones!

This journey has not been easy at all. It gets over-whelming at times & I want to give up. Those are the times I take a step back & remember why I do what I do. I engage in daily self-care & don’t compromise my own mental, physical or spiritual health to satisfy others. That’s how I overcome the challenges. I remember that I am only a vessel & that God is the Source of healing, light, love, clarity, peace, growth, wisdom & prosperity. I’ve learned that ultimately I am just a piece of the whole, so who I choose to be in my life affects my ability to accomplish my goals in divine timing, or only prolongs it. I want the world to know that I am here, willing & ready to be a vessel of healing to as many people as God intended. I have been able to accomplish a life FREE of illness for almost a decade & it’s possible to any & everyone who is ready to receive it. It’s a process & takes focus & the proper steps, but I am proof that it is possible. I genuinely desire to create an abundance of change in the health of the communities around the world. There are a lot of ‘internet health gurus’ today, so I encourage each individual to take & step back & remember who you are before you choose to submit to anyone’s teachings & guidance. Just because it sounds good & it’s popular doesn’t mean it is the path that you should take.

The last thing I want the world to know is that you must invest into your health. It takes the investment of time, energy & money. You get exactly what you pay for.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To start off the itinerary, we would need to go hiking at the Torrey Pines State Park first, to set the tone of the trip. San Diego is great for outdoors activities. Afterwards, we would visit a local smoothie & juice bar for a quick protein shake. There are way too many to name, so it would be the closest one to the hiking trail. After our hike we can just have a day of exploring north county & shopping at some of the little mom & pop stores. Next, we would have to visit the Japanese Friendship Garden for the views & some ‘zen’ time. The flower fields are close by, so we can capture some beautiful content & floral vibrations while frolicking through the beautiful fields of San Diego’s largest flower gardens. The perfect ending of that day would be having dinner at my favorite vegan sushi restaurant in San Diego, The Yasai: The Japanese Experience at Little Italy. Their food is by far the best I’ve had in San Diego! You can’t come to San Diego without enjoying the beautiful weather at one of the many beaches, so I would take them to La Jolla Shores or Mission Bay to have a picnic beach day. Since we have a week, we have to add Balboa Park to the list. Visiting the museums, koi fish pond, admiring the artwork & shopping for local artistry is always a must for individuals who can appreciate various artistic expression. In addition, one of my favorite things to do in the city is visit farmer’s markets. This is because you get to try fresh produce, learn about local farms, support small businesses & shop for unique items. This would include Little Italy’s on Saturday. Lastly, we would be ending the week with church at The Rock on Sunday & lunch at Grains vegan restaurant!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father deserves a lot of recognition. At the beginning of my personal healing journey, I was lost & uncertain about the path that I was embarking on. My father is the one who constantly reassured me & was there for my many moments of fear & loneliness. He was able to do this so well because of his own healing journey & path to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor & Master Herbalist as well. He knew what I was experiencing & what to expect next, so it was easy for him to foresee moments in my path as well. I also owe a lot of recognition to the network marketing industry. I learned so much about entrepreneurship, discipline, mindset & success principles from the books we were always encouraged to read & the people that spoke life into us on a daily basis. It was normal to be surrounded by millionaires & successful people of a wide variety of age groups & backgrounds, so you always had access to free mentorship & growth coaches. A network marketing company that I discovered almost ten years ago is what really sparked my interest in turning my own personal healing journey into a business to help others. Last, but definitely not least, my community deserves credit, because whether or not they directly supported or encouraged me or didn’t at all they helped me to dig deeper & realize that my mission was greater than the physical & bigger than me.
