Hi Ryan, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
TechiT Services helps small and medium-sized businesses in San Diego stay connected, productive, and secure with reliable IT support without the cost of hiring a full in-house IT team. A lot of local businesses struggle with technology challenges that slow them down or put their data at risk, and we bridge that gap by giving them enterprise-level IT support at a price point that makes sense for them.

We also prioritize educating our clients, not just fixing problems. We take the time to help business owners and their teams understand the technology they’re using so they can make smarter decisions and work more efficiently. When local businesses thrive, it strengthens the entire San Diego community more jobs, better services, and a stronger local economy.

What should our readers know about your business?
TechiT Services is a managed IT services and support provider based in San Diego, serving small and medium-sized businesses as well as residential clients throughout the area. What sets us apart is our commitment to delivering enterprise-level IT support at a scale and price point that makes sense for businesses that cannot justify a full in-house IT department. We become an extension of our clients’ teams, handling everything from day-to-day IT support and cloud services to network setup, Microsoft 365 administration, and strategic technology consulting.

What I am most proud of is the relationships we have built with our clients. Technology can be overwhelming for business owners who just want things to work so they can focus on what they do best. We take the time to not only resolve issues but to educate our clients and help them understand the tools they rely on every day. That approach builds trust, and many of our client relationships have grown and evolved over the years because of it.

Getting to where we are today was not easy. Building a service-based business requires patience, consistency, and a willingness to wear every hat in the early stages. There were times when growth was slow and the path forward was not always clear. The biggest lesson I have learned is that delivering genuine value and treating every client’s business as if it were your own will always pay off in the long run. Reputation is everything in this industry, and there are no shortcuts to earning it.

What I want people to know about TechiT Services is that we are not just another IT company. We are a partner invested in the success of the businesses and individuals we support. When our clients succeed, we succeed, and that philosophy drives everything we do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting San Diego for a week, I would make sure they experienced the best of what this city has to offer.

We would start the trip in the Gaslamp Quarter, walking through the historic streets, grabbing dinner at one of the neighborhood’s standout restaurants, and getting a feel for the energy of downtown. For food, Puesto is a must for upscale Mexican cuisine, and if you want an incredible steak, Born and Raised never disappoints.

A full day at the beach is non-negotiable. I would take them to La Jolla Cove for the views and the sea lions, then walk over to La Jolla Shores for a more relaxed afternoon. If they are up for it, we would rent kayaks and explore the sea caves.

Mid-week, we would spend a day in Balboa Park. Between the museums, the gardens, and the San Diego Zoo, you could easily spend an entire day there and still not see everything. It is one of the most beautiful urban parks in the country.

For craft beer, San Diego is world-class. I would take them through North Park and hit spots like Modern Times and North Park Beer Company, then grab dinner at Craft House. If they want something more laid-back, we would head to Coronado, walk across the bridge or take the ferry, and spend the afternoon at the Hotel del Coronado beach.

We would also make time for a day trip up to Encinitas or Carlsbad. The coastal views along the 101 are stunning, Swami’s Beach is iconic, and there are great spots to eat along the way. Toward the end of the week, a sunset at Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach is the perfect way to wind things down – there is nothing quite like it.

San Diego has something for everyone, and honestly a week barely scratches the surface. But that itinerary would give someone a real taste of why so many of us love calling this city home.

I would dedicate my shoutout to the San Diego small business community. From the very beginning, local business owners have placed their trust in TechiT Services to support the technology that keeps their operations running, and that trust has been the foundation of everything we have built. Their willingness to partner with us and grow alongside us has shaped who we are as a company.

I would also like to recognize the broader IT and managed services community. The professionals and mentors in this industry who freely share their knowledge and expertise have been invaluable.
