Meet Dr Zach Beatty DC | Chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr Zach Beatty DC and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr Zach, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I started San Diego Auto Injury Center, my goal wasn’t just to open another chiropractic clinic. I wanted to create a place that truly understood what people go through after an accident. I’d seen too many patients stuck in pain, overwhelmed by the recovery process, and unsure who to trust. I wanted to bridge that gap and build a team focused on helping people recover physically, mentally, and financially after car, motorcycle, or rideshare accidents.
From the beginning, I knew this clinic had to be built on trust, precision, and communication. Every patient who walks through our doors is dealing with real challenges—injuries, insurance frustrations, and uncertainty about their next steps. My focus was simple: remove the confusion, deliver exceptional chiropractic care, and guide patients step by step so they feel supported the entire way.
San Diego Auto Injury Center has become more than just a clinic. It’s a place where patients regain confidence, rebuild strength, and get back to living life after an accident. Seeing someone walk in with severe whiplash or back pain and leave with hope and movement restored is what fuels me every day. That’s why I started this—to turn one of life’s hardest moments into the start of real healing.

What should our readers know about your business?
San Diego Auto Injury Center was built around one goal—to help people recover from the chaos that follows an accident. What sets us apart is how personal we make that process. We don’t treat people like case numbers; we meet them where they are, help them understand their injuries, and create a care plan that restores both their health and their confidence. Our focus is always on the patient experience—precision in care, clear communication, and genuine compassion.
Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. Starting a business in a competitive city like San Diego takes resilience. There were long days, unexpected setbacks, and times when it felt like everything was on the line. But each challenge forced me to refine our systems and build a structure that supports both patients and staff. The backbone of this clinic is our team—a group of compassionate, caring, and hard-working people who show up every day with the same purpose: to help others heal.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that great outcomes come from great systems and even better people. What I’m most proud of is how far the clinic has come. We’ve built a trusted name in San Diego for post-accident chiropractic care, and every patient success story reminds me why this work matters. I want people to know that San Diego Auto Injury Center exists because I believe recovery should never feel confusing or isolating—it should feel empowering, supported, and full of hope.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit San Diego for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the best mix of what makes this city so special. We’d start with a round of golf at Torrey Pines, then head over to the Gliderport just to take in the views—it’s one of those places that makes you stop and realize how lucky we are to live here. From there, we’d hit the boardwalk in Pacific Beach for a bite and a drink, maybe catch a sunset before heading downtown or over to Little Italy for dinner.
Food is a huge part of any good week here, so I’d make sure we hit all the essentials—sushi, Indian food, and of course, a California burrito somewhere local. Cutwater Distillery is always a great spot for food and drinks, and I love finding hidden gems throughout the city that surprise you and remind you how much San Diego has to offer.
At night, we’d catch a Padres game or a San Diego FC match, and if the timing lined up, a concert down at the Chula Vista Amphitheater. Somewhere in between, we’d spend time around Coronado or Mission Bay just walking, relaxing, and taking it all in. And honestly, one of my favorite things to do is just sit in the backyard with a fire going, hanging out with my dog Zeus, talking about life, business, and what’s next. San Diego has this energy that’s hard to explain—it’s vibrant, coastal, and full of life. It’s one of those cities that keeps you inspired, and it’s exactly why I chose to build my life and my business here.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe so much of my journey to the people who believed in me before any of this existed. My biggest shoutout goes to my family, who encouraged me to take the leap of faith to open my first office here in San Diego—and who stood by me through every new location since, even when they probably thought I was a little crazy for pushing forward. Their support, patience, and belief in what I was building gave me the confidence to keep growing and serving more people in need of care after accidents.
I also have a lot of gratitude for the mentors and colleagues who’ve guided me along the way. Their advice and perspective helped me see the bigger picture—not just how to run a business, but how to build something that truly helps people heal and move forward.
And, honestly, a huge part of my motivation comes from the patients themselves. Every person who walks through our doors has their own story, their own struggle, and their own comeback. Watching them recover and regain confidence is what keeps me passionate about what we do at San Diego Auto Injury Center.
