Meet Brittney Doull | Graphic Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Doull and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittney, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal is to become a successful graphic designer, designing poster art for musicians and other related fields, movie posters, etc. Something consistent and earning a fair amount income.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is really 70s inspired. My favorite artist to get inspiration is Wes Wilson. He does psychedelic posters and art for bands, musicians, artist. I really enjoy a great color palette and cool typography.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For starters, I would take them to a city outside my city. I’d show the the strand, which is where you can drive sea level on the coast. I would take them to the rooftop bar to get a look and idea of the downtown area. Beach is a must. I do love a good pub, so I would take them to the coolest and closest one. Find a local musician playing and go see them at a nice venue.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friend, Pepe, whose believed in my through it all. He’s helped with a few things but mainly just always inspiring me to do more. He’s a great mentor.
