Meet Ashleigh Ha | Wedding Planner & Event Coordinator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashleigh Ha and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashleigh, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Believing in love and my lifelong dream of owning a business finally came into fruition in my late 40’s. The two ideas interlocked and I came up with the establishment of Together Ever After Events. Wedding planning requires high amounts of dedication and patience, something that I think is important to remember as perfection does not come at the blink of an eye. Thus, my business is one that is built on my sincerity, honesty, and directiveness. The planning process is not simply one where I aim to check off boxes with the couple, but one where the couple and I are working together. This ensures that we are on the same page, and is what aids in the creation of the picture perfect day, in all ways.
I am excited for the adventures ahead, and in the meantime, I am enjoying helping couples plan their dream wedding. I am honored to have my clients texting me, telling me they miss me after the wedding planning is over, and gaining a friend after each wedding event. Love lives on through the creation of a perfect memory.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
By trade I am an aesthetician for a medical spa in Poway, CA since 2014. Prior to that I was a SIU investigator for auto insurance for 18 years.
I am extremely blessed to have a career I enjoy, and the magic hands to help clients look and feel better about themselves. I learned that what I explain and discuss during the consultation is “consent,” and anything I say after will be an “excuse”. This practice helped me gain tremendous trust, respect, and confidence with my clients. Needless to say I carried and apply this principle for my business brand as well.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I enjoy being outdoors in nature. My idea of a perfect day is starting the day with a hike at Torrey Pines, followed by lunch at Poseidon. Next, I would chill at the beach soaking in the sun.
In the early afternoon, I would go explore Balboa Park. Lastly, I would book my hotel at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and freshen up before having dinner at Raised by Wolves.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
HOTT Cater, my first employer. HOTT Cater gave me my first event coordinator title. Our partnership has blossomed. I am now their preferred in-house wedding coordinator.
