Meet Cliff Braxton | Musician, Business man Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cliff Braxton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cliff, why did you pursue a creative career?
Honestly it Pursued me, I just can’t help it

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
One of the main things that personally sets me apart from the crowd, is the many hats I can wear. I have skills in the recording studio whether its producing a song for my self or another artist. I have technical ability I can mix a song, great natural instinct. I can also put on a great Live show and be a front man, but here’s where I’m also different I can be in the background perfectly content. The man behind the scenes, I can be a leader and a follower. I can fill whatever role you need me to do and you’ll always be happy with the end result. I’ve worked as a stage hand in the attic of an old theater, then later that day sang in front of a few hundred people. Do whatever it takes to get the job done. Its never easy nothing is. The most important thing is to always keep going. You can’t rest on Laurels, always create new things increase your circle of people Always try and level up. Especially in this business. You gotta Grow, adapt, constantly reinvent yourself. The Greatest killer of any success, is getting too comfortable. That philosophy can be applied to just about anything, work, health, relationships. Getting too comfortable will destroy any previous effort that you put in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well in my area its a unique situation where Im an hour and a half from everything. The beach, Los Angeles, big bear mountain , the desert. I would definitely cater the experience to what I know they liked if they’re nature driven we’re going to the beach or big bear or borego springs. If they like to party we might go to downtown San Diego to the gas lamp district or Old Town Temecula, or the dozens of wineries we have in our back yard.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Grandpa was my main mentor growing up and will have an everlasting impact on my life and music career. Also My Partner Carleigh Campbell who is the most beautiful person and has the greatest voice and songwriting powers I’ve ever heard!
