Meet Igor Pererodov | Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Igor Pererodov and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Igor, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
I guess one of the most difficult decision what i made in my life was moving to USA from Ukraine. It was almost 2 years ago, when the war was start there. My music buissnes went down and i wanted to keep my family in safe. I`m very grateful to USA that they gave us oportunity to stay here and start a new life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started to play on saxophone when i was 7 years old, now i`m 32. I have master degree in music. Most dificult time in my study was in Kharkiv National Kotlyarevsky University of Arts. I had a teacher who expect a lot from me, i mean, I’ve been spending few hours per day only for scales, in the midst of this, i had to practice my musical tunes for exams, and my ensemble tunes also. But this time helped me grow like a musician and im really grateful for this to my teacher and university.
After my studies, i had few music contracts in Dubai Bulgari resort, and in Tunisia hotels and restaurants, that’s really helped me to broaden my horizons and met many different and interesting peoples!
Like i said i’m not to long in the USA, so i need to start all my career from the bottom , because obviously no one knows me here, and in SD county, LA county, there is meny good saxophonists, but competition thats good thing, what help you to be more persistent.
Another thing what i want world to know, that i keep pushing my Youtube page, one of my dreams that is to have 100k followers there, now i have only 1500 , haha, this is going really slow, still can’t understand Youtube allgorithm.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest i’m not so about traveling, i’m more home person, so if some one from my friens going to visit me, he will stay with me at home all the time haha, but anyways. Coronado island, really beautiful place, La Jolla where you could see marine mammals, SD zoo, and of course Oceanside, great beaches where you can just cheel, and lets say Lego Land

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First of all i`m grateful to God that He suppots me in all my ways and difficult situations in my life, and keep giving me strength and stubbornness to keep doing what i`m doing. Also to my wife Radmila, who is very supportive me and encourage me all the time, and keep believe in me, even when i`m not belive in myself sometimes. Of course to my parents, who helped me to make the right decisions.
