Hi Amari, what role has risk played in your life or career?
No risk no reward I always say. Without ever taking a risk I wouldn’t be where I am today. People who are scared to take risk live regretful lives while the latter lives a fulfilling one
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m an artist…. Sometimes I draw with pictures or paint with words. I like to express myself fully sometimes a song can do that better than a conversation. I got here today by never putting that art second it wasn’t easy it cost me relationships with women and friends. But through all the emotions the art gets better and better why is that ? your mind is constantly learning you go through certain trials and once you conquer them you become stronger. Art is the same way my first show had maybe 10 people there by my 5th I was in front of 200 people. Love what you do and there’s no way you don’t succeed
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m from California so living here in Orlando now is completely different. It takes for ever to get to one place to another around here, not to mention marijuana is illegal here so what fun could we have here ? we’ll after all the partying and clubs you got the beaches an hour in each direction but they’ll never see me. My idea of fun are big studio sessions with tons of different artist and engineers where the aura is just “create”. Those are moments I cherish the most because they’re always a learning experience
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My team from Lil- Roc to FOA to Joe Bundy all people who have helped me and taught me on my journey and kept me grounded and focused and I can’t stress this enough having a good trustworthy team around will take you further than you ever could alone.
