We had the good fortune of connecting with Ben Fitzgerald and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ben, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I grew up on the east coast and have lived all over the country., working in different city’s with different people . Being around different places, people and environments definitely shaped who I am today.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been tattooing since the late 90’s. I got started in San Francisco and tattooed around the country . I landed in Long Beach ca in the year 2000 and have been here since. I’ve worked all over orange and la county. 3 years ago I took over ownership of RICK WALTERS WORLD FAMOUS TATTOO in sunset beach ca.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
