We had the good fortune of connecting with Mario Realegeno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mario, how do you think about risk?
It’s always a risk to live out your dreams. I see the risk being half the battle. The next would be the action to live out the risk. I believe we all have some true power with in whether we realize it or not.

I know we are all capable of living the life we want. If I did not risk my body, relationships, jobs and everything else life can throw at you I would not be here saying this.

Still risking it for my dreams and the life. I welcome the risks with open arms. Creating opportunity through risks defines your path. Just closer to the next chapters that come with life. Risk it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Over coming challenges is truly based on your thoughts. My belief is that you have control of your mind and If you can control your mind you can control your life. Being worried about the external, or being a perfectionist can at times hold you back in a sense.

This is my opinion also. It all starts with taking action with the ideas you create with in. Or else it will just stay an idea then you see someone else do it. That was your moment either you make it happen and check it off your goal list, or life and time just pass you by.

In my lessons in creating and observations is that this world is moved by action and that is where my focus is. Even if I fail, I will come back. I always return to what stands in the way. For what stands in the way truly is the way. You grow as a person accepting to fight and keep going.

To me that is Concrete Poetry, to overcome your mind and obstacles faced. The challenges will never end and thats part of the fun and growth. Only thing stopping you is time. So get to it.

That is the core message behind my brand Concrete Poetry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
100% go surf thats a fact. Hope you don’t mind the cold water. Either way I would go to Sunset beach, El Porto or Venice early am. Surf then get some coffee at any local shop.

If im coming back from Venice I will hit Rainbow Acres in culver city. My friend showed me that place and I still go for smoothies and sandwiches.

I like being active so I don’t just go eat for no reason. I would skate the city, get some clips then enjoy some food after. Either I will cook at home or if my friends want something particular we can hit that up.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Thank you to all those who are still grinding and working the day job keeping the dreams alive. Let’s get to it! The grind never stops.

Thank you to my sponsors and those who are with me in this journey. We got this! Love you all.
If you are reading this you know what to do.
Get to it.
