I was born in Mexicali Baja California in 1982. In 1989 we migrated to the United States to Holtville California the language barrier was hard learning and transitioning to speaking English. I was born in North Carolina but moved to Guatemala at the age of seven. I lived in Guatemala for eleven years, and my passion for teaching children started in middle school. After high school, I moved to Tennessee and studied Early Childhood Education. Science courses were always my favorite, in both high school and college! I worked in the public school system in Tennessee for 11 years. I first met the Science Guys of Nashville in 2014 and began working part-time for them in 2016.
