Being eco-friendly. It is so easy to throw things away and be unaware of the environmental impacts. There are so many cookie decorating tools that are disposable and the amount of plastic being thrown away was really hard for me to feel comfortable with. I’ve made a lot of changes to my business including using home compostable bags and cellulose dish cloths. I bake during off peak hours using solar, and do my best to recycle when I can’t reuse.
