There’s so much information within the fitness industry, whether it’s circulating out in mainstream media or within the smaller niche of the fitness community. However, there’s alot of misinformation or straight up bad information out there. It can be hard to navigate all of the information out there and figure out what is or is not accurate, beneficial, healthy, and/or optimal. One of the biggest misconceptions out there is that everything that comes out of the fitness industry is healthy or “good” information. And this isn’t the case. Probably the main thing that outsiders don’t know about my industry is that carbon fiber can be repaired (in most cases). As a composites engineer and technician, it does take considerable knowledge and experience to properly and safely repair carbon fiber. However, we confidently give a life time warranty on our repairs as we know that they have been done correctly. Decades ago, when carbon fiber was just coming available in bicycle frame production, the technique and skill had not been developed in the industry to fix carbon fiber damage. Read more>>
