What makes you happy? Why?

We regularly ask our interviewees what makes them happy because at the end of the day, what else really matters? We’ve highlighted some of the responses below.

Something that makes me happy is bringing joy to others through small acts of kindness, such as baking them a fresh batch of cookies or a special cake on their birthday. Expressing my creativity through baking, then giving those creations away to see the smile on someone’s face when they receive it fills me with a sense of purpose and in turn, happiness. What makes me happy? Wow, that’s a loaded question if I’ve ever seen one. I think there’s so much to consider when answering this question.
There is no right or wrong answer, and I don’t think there’s a single answer for anyone.
Here are a few of the many things that make me happy.
1) Freedom over my time and location. This means I can create my own schedule and run my business from anywhere, which offers a level of freedom that I will not give up soon. Read more>>

I love helping others get past their moment of overwhelm. When people reach out to an organizer, they usually feel stuck and it feels great to help lift that weight in a kind and empathetic way. Outside of work I lean on nature and God for happiness. God’s creation can lift any anxiety a human might be feeling. It brings you back to that childlike wonder we all miss. Read more>>
