I retired after 32 years as a research chemist then VP in Pharma. Got bored quickly and was looking for something totally different and challenging to do. “Ambition is a dream with a V-8 engine.” – Elvis Presley

To me, this means that with enough drive and determination, you can turn any dream into something powerful and real. I’ve always been a huge Elvis fan, so this quote holds a special place in my heart, and it also fits my life perfectly. Whether it was starting my businesses, becoming a wife, or stepping into motherhood, I’ve had to find the energy and focus to keep moving forward. It’s a reminder that no matter how big the challenge, if you put your whole heart into it, you can make it happen. Read More>>

Garrett Stadium Travel began when I was just a 15-year-old kid posting photos from different sporting events. At the time, it was simply a way to share my experiences. I never imagined it would grow into what it is today. From the start, my goal was clear: to see all 124 major professional sports teams play a game in their home stadium or arena, something I call Club 124. It was my personal bucket list, not a business plan. Read More>>

Before the pandemic, I was a successful trainer on the subject of face-to-face networking. I wrote a book called “Face-to-Face Networking: It’s All About Communication. I was training all over the nation on how to meet people and keep conversations going. Engineers found it particularly helpful since I taught a step-by-step process.

With face-to-face networking seemingly doomed, because we had no idea when we would be mingling again due to COVID-19. Living completely alone, I started the process of rethinking my career. Read More>>

Risk has been the constant thread in the fabric of my life — sometimes frayed, often tested, but always leading me forward. Even in the most stressful moments, taking chances has been my path to success.

At nineteen, I was drafted into the army during the Iran-Iraq war. By fortune or fate, I was assigned as a medic, a role that would ignite my interest in medicine. For two years, as a medic on the front lines, tending to the wounded while the chaos of war raged around me. During that time, a loud explosion cost me part of my hearing — a loss that would later become one of the challenges I faced when I was thinking of learning a new language. But it never stopped me. My persistent nature helps when it comes to working with and following up with clients. Whenever someone calls or texts me, I either am always avaliable for them, or respond within 5 to 10 minutes. Working with many agents, one big pet pevee is not being able to get ahold of an agent on a property my buyer is interested in.

My other habit is that I only compete with myself. I constantly push myself to be a better version of who I am and my success. I admire my competitors and love to learn from them, but I do not compete with them. Read More>>

I’m Singapore born and raised, where the education system is intense and expectations are high. While that structure taught me discipline, I’ve always had a rebellious streak — I questioned rules, looked for loopholes, and wanted to see what would happen if I did things differently. That mindset naturally led me to content creation. It’s one of the rare spaces where the playing field is level — your work speaks for itself, and it’s judged by a global audience. If it connects, it connects. Read More>>

Balance has definitely evolved over time. Early on, I thought success meant doing everything and doing it perfectly — which left me drained. Now, I focus on aligning my energy with what truly matters, carving out time for rest, reflection, and connection. I see balance as dynamic: it shifts depending on work, life, and priorities, and that flexibility helps me show up fully in both. Read More>>
