Risk & Reward: can you have one without the other?

By far, the topic that comes up most in our conversations with entrepreneurs and creatives is risk. We’ve had conversations about risks that worked out and risks that did not. We’ve seen eyes light eye sharing about career-trajectory changing risks as well as folks sigh about the risks they wish they had taken. Taking risks can open life up to incredible possibilities. Although it may sound cliché, there really is so much to learn and gain from taking risks. For me personally, for example, I had to make the decision to move to a totally different state in order to boost my singing opportunities. Risk indicates opportunity. It may be an opportunity to try something new, learn a skill, connect with other people, or any number of outcomes. Risk can also be a natural motivator insofar as uncertainty can offer a thrill, sharpen the senses, or feed a curiosity. Read more>>
I had reached a point in my life a couple years ago where I knew there had to be more to life.
