One of the most impactful decisions I made began before my daughter, Blake, was even born! In my second and third trimester, I completed my 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training as continuing education and to enrich my personal meditation and asana practice. I think one of the most important things I’ve done is to be proactive in being present for my child and organizing my schedule to accommodate time with him. There is always going to be work and work will be there tomorrow. Not only is it in regards to work, but also time spent on my phone. Being aware that he is watching and absorbing what I do even when I don’t notice. I think that’s been big impact and helping him know that I’m there for him and he’s valued and has importance. As an independent parent one of the most important things I’ve done for my daughter & son is to become a committed business owner . But honestly since my divorce in Jan 2017 I’ve been the sole parent physically and financially for my son Maximus (7) and Daughter Alessia (10).
