We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracie Renee Aguilar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tracie Renee, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
In 1996, inspired by a desire to help those suffering from back pain, I completed a 1000-hour holistic health program and opened my office in East County. The local news featured my services, leading to an influx of phone calls. By 1999, I began working directly with clients, building a strong reputation as a private practitioner.

As my practice grew, I developed a keen interest in workplace massage therapy, recognizing the significant impact of prolonged sitting on health. This led to the establishment of my business focused on this area. I spent many years as an independent contractor for a dynamic company in San Diego, which is no longer operating.

Now, I am passionate about promoting Chair Massage as a powerful tool to enhance productivity—boosting it by up to 75% in just 15 minutes. While I continue my private practice, where I’ve maintained relationships with clients for over 15 years and receive regular referrals, I view this endeavor as more than just a business. It is a service dedicated to helping individuals manage stress, acknowledging that seeking help is not a weakness. In today’s world, stress factors are prevalent, and a simple 15 to 20-minute chair massage can significantly improve someone’s morale, mental, and physical well-being.

What should our readers know about your business?
Since graduating from my holistic health practitioner program in 1999, my life has evolved significantly. Balancing family responsibilities and my career as a professional lab technician, I discovered my passion for chair massage when I observed a therapist at an event. Intrigued, I reached out to Infinite Massage, which welcomed me as an independent contractor. This opportunity allowed me to work at dynamic companies like Intuit and Samsung, as well as numerous biotech firms, providing corporate chair massage services.

However, when the COVID-19 pandemic forced many to work remotely, Infinite Massage ceased operations in California. As employees are returning to the office, I am eager to revive corporate chair massage services, driven not just by business goals but by my passion for promoting well-being among those who spend long hours seated. I want to establish “Your Stress Level Zero” as a renowned name in San Diego, sharing my enthusiasm for helping others relax and rejuvenate.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were to visit San Diego. I would definitely want to take her down to old town and do the trolley tour of San Diego which includes upset at all the popular places in San Diego, so we can eat drink, and be merry!

During her weeks day, we will definitely take some downtime to just kick back at home have some breakfast and definitely go out to eat a few times for sushi.

I’m sure we could find a time to just reminisce maybe watch a movie take a walk and I’m pretty sure that I would have her come to my office for a massage!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely I would like to recognize Fe Gifford a long time east county Massage Therapist that took me under her wing in 1998 share so much with me and always cheer me on and still does to this day. I’d Like to recognize Mr. Paul Dyke from El Cajon Ford for recognizing my services for employee wellness with such a positive attitude and excitement, and continues to always be for people to me. I would like to recognize San Diego Sheppard Mullin law firm for always appreciating my services since 2017.
