We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Vogue and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I always found value in an expression I heard long ago. “If you ever want to truly succeed at something, you have to obsess over it.” I’m naturally drawn to hyper focus on anything I’m genuinely interested in. That trait has helped me maintain stamina in this highly competitive industry. I know I’m doing what I love because my habit of obsessing over things that bring me joy has transferred to what I do every day. I rarely need a break, because when I’m working hard it doesn’t feel like work. I wish that for everyone.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
People often say what they find sets me apart from other drag queens is that I’m Pretty but don’t take myself to seriously. I can find the humor in any situation and I’m not afraid to get nasty. Many queens fall into a specific category and hold fast to that persona. I think I shine my brightest because I’m versatile and can offer a well rounded form of entertainment.
I go to producing over 6 different shows in LA by recognizing that I was alone and no one had any intention of offering me a helping hand. No one is going to pull you out of a sticky situation in life you have to do it all on your own cause no one will have your best interest in mind like you do. Especially when you’re starting from the very bottom like I did.
Knowing I would have to create my own opportunities, not being a fan of the politics involved with getting work in the entertainment industry. I began producing my own shows, I took risks, I took losses. I worked 3 day jobs and hustled shows at night. It was hard and it was painful but all the while during every defeat I never noticed I was learning from every time I got burned & I was be refined.
I can recognize now that even in the mistakes I made along the way if you maintain the right optimistic attitude around them they can still be utilized to propel yourself forward anyway.
If there was something I wanted the world to know about my story, it would have to be that I moved to LA with nothing but credit card debt & a broken down car. I worked hard and was abused for a long time for just enough money to get by. But I never gave up hope. Don’t let anyone distract you from your goals, if you want them bad enough there’s no one in this world who can stop you from achieving them. I used to get so envious of the drag queens who would pick up a makeup pallet and three months later be rich and famous on RPDR because it seem’d like they just had success handed to them. But now I recognize that’s not even what I wanted. I wanted to do what I love for a living and share my art daily with crowds who appreciate me & be well provided for and that’s exactly what I get to do today. Fame or not my dreams have come true and if I can keep doing this the rest of my life I’ll die a happy man. I can now enjoy a huge sense of pride in knowing everything I’ve earned I worked hard for and defied all odds for & that sense of self-fulfillment can’t be given away on a game show.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I had never witnessed anyone in the entertainment industry work as hard and take their brand as seriously as Jessica L’whor a phenomenal Drag Queen from Denver Colorado. She’s a dear friend of mine & a mentor. I wouldn’t be the person I’m so proud to be today without having the good fortune of knowing her.
