We had the good fortune of connecting with Taelor Peterson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taelor, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
When I first sat down and thought about what I was going to do next with my life and my career, I knew that it was going to be something that was not only for myself but for other female entrepreneurs and business owners. I have always loved seeing other female business owners grow and succeed with their businesses because I know the hustle, hard work and determination that it takes to be a successful business owner. With all of the ideas I had put together and notes I had taken when I began learning about entrepreneurship and what it takes to be a business owner, I created Get HER Done Collective. We are a female owned and operated business consulting company that helps to encourage and assist women looking to become entrepreneurs and small business owners!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m most excited that I have created a space for female business owners and entrepreneurs to jump start their careers and take their ideas to the next level. Get HER Done Collective, being a female owned and operated company is where I know I would want to go to expand my business and to be encouraged to create a successful brand for myself and my future. I did a lot of studying and learning about business plans, services and different concepts within many female owned companies that most people were looking for and I decided to implement all of those things into Get HER Done Collective. I have learned that staying true to your beliefs and what you feel best represents you, will bring success to your life effortlessly. Which is what we hope and plan to do for any female owned small business, company or entrepreneur that needs guidance to get them to their fullest potential.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would have to say that a great place I would take someone visiting my city for week would most definitely include Mission Beach to start because it is such an exciting and relaxing place for anyone to go and see San Diego at its finest. There are always great vendors and usually music being played that you can hear while visiting the beach. As far as food, we are blessed to live in a city with so much versatility when it comes to eating. I think that we do have some great food options no matter where you are at in the city but a favorite restaurant of mine I love taking people to is Cocina De Barrio. They have great Mexican food (which of course San Diego is known for) always and they have amazing drink options for everyone to enjoy. Downtown San Diego is really where you will find a great mix of things to do from rooftop bars to hole in the wall places that would blow your mind. I can honestly say that there are so many things to do here, that everyday you could have a new itinerary that would not disappoint.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people in my life that have consistently encouraged me to never stop going after my dreams. I would just like to take this time to really highlight all of my family and friends for never giving up on me and always supporting me. Without the knowledge, support and love that they have each given me I would not be where I am today. I hope to one day be able to give back to each of them in some way to let them know that it means the world to know they have all been such a special part of my life in helping my dreams come true.
