Hi Shelby, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Taking risks has been an essential part of my journey, both personally and professionally. At Simply Classic Travels, we believe that stepping out of our comfort zone is the only way to achieve true success. If I hadn’t embraced the uncertainties and challenges along the way, I wouldn’t be where I am today, helping to create unforgettable experiences for our clients. Every risk I’ve taken has shaped my career and our business, allowing us to grow, innovate, and make meaningful connections with people like you.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What truly sets Simply Classic Travels apart is our unwavering commitment to making each client feel like family. We don’t just plan events or trips; we create experiences filled with personal touches, thoughtful details, and genuine care. We are most proud of the relationships we build with our clients and the trust they place in us to handle the most important moments of their lives.

Our journey to where we are today has been anything but easy. Like many businesses, we’ve faced our share of challenges—from navigating the complexities of the travel + event industry to ensuring every detail is perfect for our clients. But these obstacles have only made us stronger. We overcame them by staying true to our values, being adaptable, and always putting our clients’ needs first. The lessons we’ve learned along the way are invaluable: the importance of resilience, the power of a strong support network, and the belief that no detail is too small when it comes to making someone’s dream event or trip come to life.

Day 2: Balboa Park & Gaslamp Quarter
– Morning: Explore Balboa Park’s gardens and museums.
– Lunch: Enjoy lunch at The Prado in Balboa Park.
